INC builds World’s Largest Domed Arena
The Iglesia Ni Cristo has launched recently the “City of Victory” or Ciudad de Victoria in the town of Bucaue in Bulacan province. This project is in connection to the church’s centennial on July 27, 2014. It consists of facilieis and buildings like the New Era Sports Complex, EVM Convention Center, New Era University-Bocaue Campus, EGM Medical Center and Music Center. And the most interesting building with this Ciudad de Victria is the Philippine Arena.
The Philippine Arena will eventually become the world’s largest indoor arena. It will be fitted with 50,000 seats inside and can still accommodate another 50,000 seats outside the arena.
About the Iglesia Ni Cristo
The Iglesia Ni Cristo is one of the minority churches here in the Philippines. But it is the largest indigenous or native Christian religion in Asia.
It has a local congregation here in Maasin City where its church is located in Barangay Asuncion near the Canturing Bridge. There are also churches of the Iglesia Ni Cristo in different towns of Southern Leyte. Those that are easily to notice are their church in Padre Burgos in Barangay Cantutang, in Barangay Salvation in Sogod, and in St. Bernard. It also has churches in Hinunangan.

Why do they consider this arena the world’s biggest arena when in fact it can accommodate only 50,000 seats compared to the Cowboy Stadium which can accommodate more than that number?
Philippine Arena is a dome arena or they also called it In-door Arena. While Cowboy Stadium is a stadium.
Wikipedia define Stadium as A modern stadium (plural stadiums/stadia[3]) is a place or venue for (mostly) outdoor sports, concerts, or other events and consists of a field or stage either partly or completely surrounded by a structure designed to allow spectators to stand or sit and view the event.[4])
While arena according to the wikipedia is an enclosed area, often circular or oval-shaped, designed to showcase theater, musical performances, or sporting events. It is composed of a large open space surrounded on most or all sides by tiered seating for spectators. The key feature of an arena is that the event space is the lowest point, allowing for maximum visibility. Usually, an arena is designed to accommodate a fairly large number of spectators.
So, it is clear that Philippine Arena and Cowboy Stadium are two different places. So we can’t compare the two as they are similar places because they are different.
You can consider Cowboy Stadium the world’s largets stadium while Philippine Arena will be the world’s largest arena.
