Influenza AH1N1, Now in Leyte

DOH comfirmed the 2 cases of Flu AH1N1 infection in Eastern Visayas. One of the infected is a 14-year-old high school student and the other one is a seaman.

Two schools have suspended their classes already. These schools are the Philippine Science High School – Palo Campus where the 14-year-old infected student enrolled and the Sacred Heart College in Catbalogan, Samar where the daughter of the infected seaman is studying.

Currently, there are 344 confirmed cases of the H1N1 infection here in the Philippines according to the DOH.
