INC builds World’s Largest Domed Arena

The Iglesia Ni Cristo has launched recently the “City of Victory” or Ciudad de Victoria in the town of Bucaue in Bulacan province. This project is in connection to the church’s centennial on July 27, 2014. It consists of facilieis and buildings like the New Era Sports Complex, EVM Convention Center, New Era University-Bocaue Campus, EGM Medical Center and Music Center. And the most interesting building with this Ciudad de Victria is the Philippine Arena.

Construction Of P1.7M Tandem Ziplines At Agas-Agas Bridge Completed

The construction of an estimated P1.7M worth of tandem ziplines above the 350 linear meters in length and 75 meters in height, almost P1B worth of a mega bridge here has been completed during the third week of April 2011.

LGU-Sogod Prohibits Nuisance; Regulates Students To Converge In Beaches, TV Bars During Schools Days

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan has approved, during its recent weekly session held at the province’s SP Legislative Building near the Provincial Capitol, two ordinances of Sogod town no. 2011-45 and no.2011-46.

Ordinance no. 2011-45 will regulate students in going into beaches and KTV bars during school days.

Southern Leyte to Investigate Napantao Dive Resort MOA

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan has instructed the Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Tobias Aguilar to conduct a thorough investigation to verify the truth of some reliable reports pertinent to the existing renewed MOA of the Napantao residential building of the Napantao Dive Resort in San Francisco, Panaon Island that is presently rented by the provincial government and occupied by the volunteer-members of the Coral Cay Conservation of the United Kingdom.

GUV Signs PENRMO-GTZ MOA Establishing The SL Mangrove Greenbelt Project

Maasin City, Southern Leyte – The Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Management Office (PENRMO) and GTZ (in literal English equivalent : German technical Assistance/Cooperation) has jointly formulated a Memorandum of Agreement for a project dubbed as Southern Leyte Mangrove Greenbelt Project with a funding of P1.5M. A resolution was passed authorizing Governor Damian Mercado to sign the MOA.

5 Treasure Hunter in Bataan Died

Bataan – 5 hunters of the Yamashita treasure in Bataan died by suffocation while inside the 60 feet tunnel in Sitio Ariada, Barangay Alangan, Bataan.

The victims were identified as Angelito Mariano, Sr., his son Angelito, Jr., Vener Bermillo, Luisito Caparas, and one Richard del Pilar.
According to the investigators, the hunters were using a gasoline driven water pump inside the tunnel. The engine normally emits carbon monoxide which was believed to be cause of their suffocation.
Rescuers successfully got the unconscious hunters out but were declared dead upon arrival in the hospital.
