Nasing joined in holy matrimony with then US Army Sgt. Conrado Generoso “Larry” Bayhon on November 12, 1944 in Tacloban, Leyte, moved to California on October 31, 1946 and were married for 62 years until Larry’s passing in May 28, 2005. Their union was blessed with two children, Judy & Ronnie. Nasing was highly regarded for her praying spirit, kindness, generosity, moral leadership and dedication to God and her church family in Stockton, California. In addition to being a loving housewife, devoted sister and servant of God, Nasing was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, whose spirit of strength and support will be greatly missed by each and every one of her children.
Nasing is survived by her children, Judy Robertson and Ronnie Bayhon of Stockton, California, two grandchildren Aaron & Rian, seven great-grandchildren in Stockton and Elk Grove, California and Washington, sister Neneng Durano-Go of Kapatagan Lanao del Norte, brother Esteban Durano of Ormoc City and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Ormoc City , Leyte, Liloan-Cebu, Cebu City, Danao City, Davao City and the United States.
Prayer Services has been scheduled at San Lorenzo Ruiz Church in San Jose Village, Labangon, Cebu City.
A viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., on Monday, February 16, 2009 at Chapel of the Palms, 303 California St., Stockton California.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, February 17, 2008 at St. George’s Catholic Church in Stockton, California. Father Dean and Father Joe will be officiating.
Interment will be at San Joaquin Cemetery, Stockton, California.
