According to the report, Globe will make the WiMAX available to the internet users in Leyte by the end of the year.
WiMAX or Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access is a telecommunication technology that provides wireless transmission of data using a variety of transmission modes, from point-to-multipoint links to portable and fully mobile internet access. It is much faster and more affordable compared to the existing Globe Broadband products which can be availed at PhP795 per month in 512KBPS speed and PhP1,295 in 1MBPS.

Dr. Belo’s lawyer accused Erik Chua through the SNN (Showbiz News Ngayon) of lying when Erik claimed through his affidavit that he was the first to leave the residence of Dr. Belo after retreiving the sex videos of Dr. Hayden Kho.
The lawyer showed to Mr. Abunda the entries at the logbook made by the security guard assigned at the gate of the residence of Dr. Belo that proved that it’s Dr. Belo who left the residence first. Then after more than an hour, Erik Chua with his companion left the residence.

The World Health Organization or WHO considered already the Swine Flu (H1N1) as pandemic. It means the new strain of the virus has been spreading through the communities in the world. The whine flu virus that has been spreading since April 2009 is identified already in 74 countries and there are almost 30,000 cases around the world and took 141 lives already.

May Vecina, the Filipina nanny working in Kuwait, has been granted full pardon by the Kuwaiti ruler.
May Vecina was convicted guilty of killing the 7-year-old Salem Sulaiman Al-Otaib and guilty of attempting to kill the 13-year-old Abdulla by slitting the boy’s throat, and 17-year-old Hajer by stabbing her, on January 6, 2007. The three are children of her employer.
